(unfortunately I now have to transfer my mail etc accounts, and hopefully not the corrupted file. All to no avail.įinally the problem was solved by creating a new and clean user on the Mac, and loading the driver into that user's account - now the tablet runs perfectly. Wacom advised a whole new un-install and reinstall, update all programmes and operating systems (I use Creative Suite), and finally a full search of all the files for anything with wacom or tablet in the file or folder name and clear the trash can - and then clean re-install again. I un-installed the old Wacom Driver, installed the new one and plugged it in - it was terrible. I loved it, so did a quick search of blogs and then replaced it with a brand new Wacom Intuos Art (Medium) Pen and Touch CTH-690. When I updated to Sierra (due to instability in my Mac) the old wacom pretty much stopped working.
I have an Imac and an old Wacom Intuos 3. LU88, and other frustrated Mac/Wacom users.
